[ t ] TwiningProperties was selected to advise and develop the masterplan on the residential portion Seaport redevelopment plan, representing 2.5 million square feet of the 6.5 million square foot master development on 25 acres overlooking the Boston Harbor and owned by Morgan Stanley and the Gale Companies. Watermark Seaport sits on a prime site overlooking two parks and the Boston Harbor. It is a 17-story tower with 370,000 square feet and 346 units with 15,000 square feet of retail space and 146 parking spaces below grade. The project was co-developed by Skanska.

Highlights:

  • Delivered in 2016, Watermark Seaport is a LEED Gold-certified property with variety of sustainability features including reflective roof, on-site high efficiency cogeneration plant, and extensive use of local materials with a focus on recycled composite, and low VOC materials

  • Watermark Seaport enjoys a prime location at the heart of Seaport Square is a strategic component of the larger 6.35 million square foot Seaport Square master plan that includes major businesses including PWC, State Street, JP Morgan, Alexion, Autodesk, Reebok, John Hancock, Vertex, and BCG.

  • Due to strategic advisory services provided to MS Boston, Twining Properties was able to secure a favorable land deal, giving it a competitive advantage.

  • In Jan 2018, Watermark Seaport was sold a the highest price paid per unit for a multifamily project in Boston
